We invited business leaders and enterprise customers to an interactive in-person event at Microsoft Office, Ikoyi, Lagos on the 6th of May, themed “Copilot Studio: Unlocking the Future of AI-Driven Productivity,” the event was an opportunity to learn how to develop real-life, role-specific AI assistants with Microsoft Copilot Studio.

We began by introducing what Copilot Studio is and how it differs from the already well-known Microsoft 365 Copilot that they are familiar with. Besides the already well-known Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio also allows businesses to create their own copilots for particular needs, procedures, and goals.

Our experts presented real-world use cases in HR, IT, customer care, and insurance—demonstrating how different teams are able to use Copilot to simplify everyday tasks and automate tasks.

We also conducted two live demos:

  • A step-by-step walkthrough of how to build a AI Agent from the ground up using natural language and automation tools available out-of-the-box.

  • A role-specific demo for insurance domain, showing how Copilot can support claims handling, underwriting, and agent workflows. The room was full of thoughtful questioning and debates from CIOs, department heads, and digital transformation leaders who were curious about how this fits into their business.

Our Managing Director, Kenneth Ufomba, concluded the session by offering his insights on how AI is influencing the future of work, rendering teams more efficient, agile, and adaptive.
